Terms of use
Version 2026-07-20
What Voizum is
Voizum generates audio from text using synthetic voices. You need an account and credits to use it. We do our best to keep the service available and working well, but we cannot guarantee it will never fail or be free of interruptions.
Who provides the service, and from where
Voizum is a service operated from the United States, which is also the country payments are charged from. These terms and your relationship with the service are governed by the laws of the United States. For any question, issue or complaint you can write to us at support@voizum.com.
The voices you upload
When you upload a sample to clone a voice, you declare that it is your own voice or that you have permission from the person it belongs to. Do not upload third-party voices without their consent, or voices of known people to pass them off as real. We record the date on which you accepted this condition. If you cannot prove that permission, we will remove the voice.
The audio you generate
You are responsible for the text you enter, the audio you obtain, and how you use it afterwards. Voizum may not be used to impersonate anyone, deceive, harass, or for illegal content. You may use the audio you generate for anything you like, including commercial use, always within these limits.
The public library
Some voices are available to all users. Only accounts authorised by us can publish them, and whoever publishes a voice is responsible for holding the necessary rights. We may remove any voice from the library at any time, especially if we receive a well-founded complaint.
The data we collect
To know which parts of the site work and which don't, we anonymously record actions such as opening the page, playing a sample or generating audio. We use no cookies and store nothing on your device for this, and we never send the text you write, your name or your email: only the fact that the action happened. Your account data (email, voices and audio) is handled separately and is used only to provide the service.
If something shouldn't be here
If you believe a voice is yours and you did not give permission, or that some content breaches these terms, write to us using the contact form. We review all reports and, where appropriate, remove the voice or content.
Changes and accounts
We may update these terms; the version in force is always the one on this page. We may suspend an account that breaches them seriously or repeatedly. You can stop using the service whenever you want.
